That's not an error. It's just an informational message telling you that there's already code running on the cRIO, and that it will be halted in order to run the code you're telling it to run instead.

I downloaded and tested your Camera Lag Troubleshoot.zip code. With vision enabled I get loop times between 40 and 170 ms. With vision disabled I get loops times between 30 and 65 ms.

Then I turned off auto error logging following the instructions here. With vision enabled I now get loop times between 15 and 65 ms. With vision disabled I get loop times between 15 and 23 ms.

You might want to try turning off auto error logging.

Sorry for the delayed post. I answered earlier today, but got a message a moderator would have to review my post. Now I see my post never made it.

I tested your attached Camera Lag Troubleshoot.zip code. I was able to improve the loop timing by turning off automatic error logging on the robot. To do that look for my post titled

"Turning off automatic error logging in LabVIEW may improve loop timing "

I'd give you the link, but I suspect that's what caused problems earlier.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very, very much for this. I will not be able to test it until tomorrow night, but it sounds like exactly the kind of thing I am looking for. :D

now, back to that homework backlog...
