Dead Sidecars

We lost a sidecar last year, and another one last night. Anyone else having problems with sidecars dying?

Tonya,

I think that the majority of people posting problems here have been resolved with changes to software or wiring.

If you do not mind, why do you think your DSCs are dead?

We killed two sidecars, one last year and one this year.
Both with Aluminum dust.

I thought we had killed two sidecars, but after taking them apart, and removing some metal shavings from both, they went back to working just fine.

try removing the two pieces of the plastic cover, and using a compressed air can (not an air compressor) to clean them all out.

be careful with canned air it is actually liquid nitrogen and can cause all sorts of damage if not used properly (i'm a certified computer tech)
