I am not quite sure what motor you are trying to control with a spike/jaguar, but make sure the positive wire is going to 12v/v+ and the ground is going to gnd/v-. It sounds like you may have them switched around. It could also be that the motors are turning against each other and tripping the breakers.

Your use of terminology isn't matching how things are actually named. There is no such thing as a "Spike motor". Connecting multiple Spikes to the same motor is not permitted by the robot rules. The window motors in the Kit of Parts this year are made by Denso. I can think of no reasonable application where a Denso motor and a Fisher Price motor are connected to each other, though that might be a failure of imagination on my part.

I understand it's too late now, but it would have helped to have someone else on the team we could communicate with, preferably someone who is actually working on the problem.

Spike relay modules contain physical relays. They click when operated.
