Would it be a safe assumption to say that it looks like the top lifts up around 8 inches higher with four pistons?

I don't know, the frame looks like fiberglass extrusion to me. If that's what it is it is probably pretty light.

110 Lbs total, all aluminum.

The top extends from 17" to 22" and serves to extend the "Platform". Our intent was to serve as a ramp to help others score the extended points. Not sure about the ramp part now .......

I'm thinking about starting a contest to see who can guess the total number of holes in the entire robot. :D

Well lets start then. My guess is approximately 470.

Bring it on...

Excluding mounting holes, 528 large and 1030 small. Total 1558.

Yes, it kicks very well. There are 4 kick modes, all pneumatic. We can kick the length of the field if required. We actually had to add a second regulator to slow it down a little bit.

Does it whistle when you're moving?

If God made an FRC robot, this would be it... Holy.. get it?

You say it kicks good, but I think your story is full of holes...

OK, I have a hole lot more but I'm done now..

That thing has more holes than a rack full of dunkin doughnuts... mmmm doughnuts...

Emeril called, he want his collander back.

Easter is coming, that will make a great egg holder for painting.

Just looking at the Open Holes (i.e. not holes with bolts)
4 very large,
356 large,
500 small,

Grand total around 860.

Now counting the holes with bolts (including the mecanums)....

around 1200 total

It is actually 8 very large holes. 4 standoffs with 2 holes on each(if they speed holed both sides).

You didn't by any chance weigh the robot before you cheese holed it did you? That would be cool to see the weight savings.

The holes were not added, they were part of the initial design. It's kind of like a FRC version of an erector set. If something is added to the design we can rearrange structural parts to make room. The whole thing is put together with 5mm socket head cap screws. We can take this whole thing apart and put it back together with a 4mm ball end Allen Wrench and an 8mm combination box wrench. Another cool thing about 5mm cap screws and the 8mm flat-to-flat nut that mates with it is it real close to 5/16 and 5/32 inches. I can pick up any allen wrench and box wrench set and work on this thing. There's no welding involved, you can break this thing down into individual pieces in less than 20 minutes.
