Re: pic: FRC-34 Breakaway Entry
Would it be a safe assumption to say that it looks like the top lifts up around 8 inches higher with four pistons?

Re: pic: FRC-34 Breakaway Entry
I don't know, the frame looks like fiberglass extrusion to me. If that's what it is it is probably pretty light.

Re: pic: FRC-34 Breakaway Entry
110 Lbs total, all aluminum.
The top extends from 17" to 22" and serves to extend the "Platform". Our intent was to serve as a ramp to help others score the extended points. Not sure about the ramp part now ....... I'm thinking about starting a contest to see who can guess the total number of holes in the entire robot. :D |
Re: pic: FRC-34 Breakaway Entry

I think I'll name it "The Cheese Grater".
Go get the Cheese Grater ........... Where's the Cheese Grater ........... ? Has the Cheese Grater been inspected yet ..........? Did you swap batteries on the Cheese Grater .........? Don't bring any cheese to Peachtree or we'll grate it ! Yea, that works. :D |
