C.O.R.E. 2062 appreciates the kind words of encouragement. We hope that the stars are aligned this time and we advance further than Milwaukee. Watch for some added features to our robot. If all goes well on Thursday you will see a vacuum system and light sensor on our robot. These additions will add additional scoring posibilities to our robot.

Especially appreciate the kind words from the Hilltoppers. You guys rock and are having a phenominal year with your 2 regional championships.

To be blunt, 10,000 Lakes has always been a weak event. It's less about finding diamonds in the rough here as much as it is finding anyone particularly strong. The #1 alliance will likely take the event, since there will be a very limited number of robots to contribute to their alliance.

I'm expecting the majority of the Minnesota teams to be very competitive! I'm sure that teams like 2169 and 2500 have been working on improvements since their trip to Wisconsin.

If there are any teams that need some help, please stop by our pit. We don't have a full crew with us, but will help in any way we can.

Just curious, but did anyone else see the practice match where team 2503 got 8 penalties in autonomous, and if the wall wasn't there, would have tried to run over the ref?

Talk about a dream come true! Congrats 1714 and 2062 for winning their second event each. Together! 1714 and 2062 have always enjoyed a good relationship with each other and I'm glad that the teams were able to join together to win the competition. We were one pick away from that last year...

Congrats to all the other winners as well.

2052 KnightKrawler we had that kinda luck there, one match, we were the only upright robot on our alliance at the end

As a Viking fan, I'm all for teams and people going from Wisconsin to Minnesota and winning :D Congrats to 1714 and 2062! Real good to see 1714 get their back to back 10K lakes win. Also, good to see 2062 get their second regional win. Their quarterfinal finish at Wisconsin was not indictive of how strong their robot and strategy (especially in the QFs against 111) are.

Chris:

You are correct! Winning the regional is a dream come true. Winning it with 1714 makes it even more special. More Robotics has always been a team that we look up to and try to emulate. They set the standard for what others should strive for. They have always been there for us and have given us guidance and support. Along the way we have become great friends.

Their motto: "Learn MORE, Give MORE, Be MORE" truly exemplifies what they believe in. They have always given us more and as a result we have become more. Thank you Thomas More! And congrats on the Safety Award, we know how much it means to you.

Also congrats to all of the other teams that won awards. Well deserved.

A special mention to the WAVE, team 2826. Your team did an outstanding job and your alliance (2511 & 2513) had us worried during the semi-finals with great play and strategy.

A big thank you goes out to team 3038, the ICE for being a great partner.

Congrats teams 1714, 2062, and 3038. You guys are some awesome competitors. On a side note I would like to celebrate a personal success for our team in having a very competitive comeback year after not participating in 2009 and returning with many students new to the FIRST experience. Good luck in Atlanta, and see you next year.

I would like to add our congratulations to teams 1714, 2062, and 3038. Good luck at Atlanta!

Kudos also to Joe Passofaro and everyone on Team 2169! Obviously all your hard work is paying off. Thanks for picking us, and always cheering for us.

Thanks also to our other alliance partner, 2989. We gave it our best!

We are amazed by Team 2500. It has been fun to watch your team grow in the past three years. You truly are an inspiration to us.

To all the rookie teams, our new friends, keep up the good work! We hope to see you all again next year.

I was definitely impressed by the rest of the Minnesota teams, led by Team 2177.

Congratulations to Teams 525 and 2826 on your awards, and also thanks for always cheering for us.

Congratulations also to Teams 1816, 171, 1675 and especially 537 on your successes over at the North Star Regional.

Finally, thanks to all the volunteers at both regionals, especially those that helped get all the teams through inspection on Thursday and Friday. You are part of the reason why FIRST is so successful in Minnesota.

I was about to post that not to forget about team 3038s amazing defense that last match we only let two balls in out of how many were over there. I know that is egotistic, but hey we still good. We are still ex-static to go this year. Thanks again to team 1714 for picking us.

It takes 3 to win an event, not 2. Thanks for helping 1714 out. Atlanta's a whole new ball game, as you'll soon find out, so I hope you guys are ready to deal with a whole new level of robots to play against. Perhaps an example: people in Minnesota last year thought our bot was awesome, scored a billion points, and won a ton of matches. Well, we missed eliminations at the Championship. I hope you guys are ready to step up for game! Best of luck.

How is it that all of the videos from Northstar are up on TBA but none from 10,000 lakes?

We recorded directly to my external drive at Northstar so I could use the video for scouting Friday night. I haven't gotten the 10k Lakes video from the other mentor that worked on the webcast/archiving. I apologize for the delay.

regrettably my teams robot is the one which tipped. but our robot was among the top 5 for scoring! And if the motor key (yes to all those who still wonder what happened it was a motor key) hadnt come out, we would have given more robotics a run for their money! 2518 FOR 2011!!!! we have a strong history behind us! THANKS to teams 2177 and 525 for support and good luck to 525 at Atlanta
