Re: 2010 Minnesota 10,000 Lakes Regional
I found it quite interesting to notice that all the teams attending this regional have team numbers containing four digits.

What's more interesting than the digit count is that there were only 2 teams that were older than three years. And neither of them was from MN. |

Actually, their were 10 fourth year teams, 1714, and 525. As for the regional, it was great. This is by far the largest regional I have ever been too, and the volunteers did an impeccable job of running it. The withholding allowance was put to good use this year, as we brought in a completely new robot after a major design failure at Midwest. We had a lot of fun, but we were unable to qualify for Atlanta. Hopefully next year. |

OK, so once again I am living proof that you can get a MS degree in Engineering without being able to do basic math :)
Actually, I think it's because my head is still spinning from being the LRI at a 63 team regional... which would explain why for some reason I thought it was 2009 a few minutes ago. Anyway, I know i've got this right: there were only two teams with numbers < 2000. And everyone was very thankful for all the support they helped provide to the 13 rookie teams that were there. Thanks again 525 and 1714 for coming to MN and helping everyone out! See you both in ATL. -Jeff Lead Robot Inspector, 10,000 Lakes Regional |

Would you mind changing Team 2879 Parkbotics to Orange Thunder? We've changed our name.
