2010 Regional Archiving

It's that time of year again. If you can record archived video of a Regional Competition, please sign up on FIRST Wiki!

Since first will not be posting a win loss record this year. Will tba be able to?

It's a pretty simple endeavor to do so, since FIRST is publishing the match scores.

I'll try and work on archiving CT if no one else can, but I can't say for sure.

There's no abbreviation for the WPI Regional. Since the new FIRST website makes it impossible to see if they've internally picked an abbreviation for the event, I'm guessing either "WPI" or "WO" would be the most logical choice.

We'll be recording both Boston and CT for internal use and can parse individual matches if folks can wait a bit.

The WPI results page are under WOR. North Carolina is NC, Utah is UT.

Edited the wiki page to reflect.

The Blue Alliance will be webcasting and recording Boston. Hopefully that saves you a bit of effort :-)

I recorded the San Diego eliminations, but probably won't have time to parse them until after the season. The files are H.264 from my pinnacle video transfer, and about 2 gigs total, in case someone else wants to parse them.

Re: 2010 Regional Archiving

I can most likely record the WPI webcast video directly to h.264 using VLC. It'll be the same quality as the webcast, so if some enterprising people would like to record the direct field output for a higher resolution, go right ahead. I won't be able to parse the video, but I'll be able to upload the raw video to an FTP server the same night.
