It never hurts to have a good mascot handy. At multiple events my team has won the "best mascot" award that another team has decided to give out, and our mascot has even gotten some props at Worlds.

A large cheering section never hurts, and ostentatious displays leave the competition in awe and dazed by the pure awesomeness.

It certainly would be!

That's another thing - give the MC your stuff. We normally turn over our poncho for them to wear, but most teams just drop off a flag at the beginning of the event and pick it up at the end. If your team is in the elims, get whatever else you can (give-aways, unique team items (such as 910's hats), or spare t-shirts) on them.

lol... Alright alright I get it. Maybe it is just our scouts that are not very excited :P.

-They really don't want to cheer so they end up using scouting as an excuse not to cheer. It bugs me, but I'll live.

Anyway, hopefully we can get an all crowd chant going on at worlds next year. I think it would sound amazing if the entire crowd was cheering together.

-See you all there
