Was its original purpose to lift or to kick?
I'm assuming kicking, b/c the dog-gear could be used to vary the range. GL in San Diego! NorCal FTW! |

We too recognized that given the well-proven ultimate strength of a craftsman ratchet, and the robust design of the ratcheting mechanism, that it was a far better anti-backdrive mechanism than we could machine ourselves.
How are you retaining the end? |
