Signing up as a driver

Our team doesn't have specific drivers set yet. We have two people to register as drivers during our first, practice day, but we could end up switching once we determine who is better at driving. (No, we didn't get to practice before we shipped.)

My question is--if we do switch drivers, how would that work? How would those new drivers register? Is that even possible?

:] Thanks.

All you have to do is give your drivers whoever they may be the button that says your team number and it says driver they 2 guys that you send to register will get them.

Simply take the button off the current driver, and pin it to the shirt of the new driver. Pretty simple. :P You don't have to register your drivers, they only need to have the button to have access to the field.

Switching Driver's is Easy. Simply give the button to the driver that is driving that match.

I would suggest having all of the driver's attend the driver's meeting though, but it'll get a bit tricky if you don't have enough buttons to go around or if they put a cap on how many people per team should be there. If all of your driver's are not allowed on the field then I'd suggest having them sit in the front row of the stands so that they can hear.

all of those are good except make sure that the two people dont have the robocoach button on or you will be penalized. This button has a dot on it

What do you mean? The "Robocoach" is not a Driveteam member this year, and when it was the badge did not have a dot on it.

The Coach's button on the other hand, should have a dot on it and should only be given to the person coaching. If coaches will be cycling through the coaching position throughout the regional it is acceptable to give the badge to the person coaching for that match. You should not be able to have more than one coach badge at any given time because you are only given one in your packet. The only way a coach can get "Penalized" is to have the step out of bounds, do some sort of unsafe thing, or touch the controls during a match.
