Re: 2010 Highest Scoring Match

At the Oregon Regional the highest legal score was a 9.. although in the second final match one alliance would have scored 12 points if not for a red card.... (touching other teams tower in last twenty seconds)... even though none of the robots in that match could hang.

KC's last match before alliance picking was 14-0. It appeared that the red and blue alliance were both scoring in one goal. Not sure if that was intentional?

Right but, it was 12 after the 2 points for hanging, if you looking for most balls scores, it was the final match, as our alliance landed 11 balls vs their 4

Right, and that was with everyone playing full out (no shooting in the opponents goal) with both sides playing defense, and no hanging bots - all points were goals scored, so that's 15 balls scored in one match. Sweet!

To those with "foggy memories" and such:
1) http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...ts.aspx?id=430
2) Click the desired regional
3) Click "Match Results"

Hope it helps!

BAE had one of the best final matches I can remember in years (since 2003 at least). 4 matches and some of the highest scores. I still can't believe that the top teams made it that far. Usually an underdog comes up and plays the number 1 seed and loses. You guys are awesome!:)

Looks like 25, 1676, and 3059 at NJ also tied for the highest: 15-4 in Quarterfinals 1 Match 2

I think one of the matches in the NJ regional was 13-6 or something like that.

One of the semi-final rounds was 13-2, but the red alliance got 14 penalties and blue won with 0-2.

An announcement was made at Kettering that we had the highest score in a match and that we also had the highest average score for week 1. Kudos to all the teams.
