Re: Best 2010 Lifter
I feel like im biased too... but even though we haven't been to a regional, ours can release, grab, and hang in under 15 sec. im hoping that thursday this week i will actually be able to say on a competition field that it did that well:D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHmRrZ9asEo in this video, we climb in about ten seconds... and the motor was not turned all the way up (poor brent was a little slow with the controls  ) |
Re: Best 2010 Lifter
525's lifter was always fun to watch and was quite consistent. Once they got up onto the bump in the last 20 seconds it was basically a guarantee. Although it ended up dooming us in the 3rd finals match it was still my favorite. ;)
EDIT: After seeing the video of 1717's lift, I must say it is extremely impressive as well! |

Re: Best 2010 Lifter
I've heard murmurs of a 4 CIM hang.

Look what I found on Facebook. Good view of both robots hanging in the last match. |
Re: Best 2010 Lifter
Also, I've got to mention 2016 in here. They were our alliance partners in NJ and hung extremely well and could clear the platform by 8" or more. I'd watch out for them in Dallas.

It should have been obvious to anyone who's been around since 2004 that 254 would lift using their drive transmissions, but for those who are newer, now you know. |
