Do any teams have their regional scouting data available for us to take a look at to make a proper Excel sheet?

I noticed this with atleast the NJ regional do not know about the others, however you cannot take the Seeding Score as is from FIRST....

FIRST included the Elimination matches for some reason in the seeding score section, because I looked at our seeding score and you need to eliminate teams from elimination matches or adjust their seeding score for true calculations.

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but from the points I added up this is what I gathered.

I am not sure exactly what you are referring to. The (corrected) post by Jee7s above is the correct adjusted ranking.

The rankings on FIRST's website are correct also:

http://www2.usfirst.org/2010comp/eve.../rankings.html

It doesn't look like the elims score was included in the final SS, otherwise 25's score would be way higher.

Your 'wins' data for BAE is incorrect.

team 1729 had 5 wins, 3 losses and 2 ties (shown here

The wins for Team #3074 are also incorrect.

If you see inconsistency, I encourage you to post a new spreadsheet in the format that Billfred has started and I will be happy to replace it. Thanks!

You are absolutely correct! Why score for yourself when you can willing take penalties (inadvertent rolling on the ball) and end up with the same score at the end.

These changes had a huge impact and shouldn't be evaluated as only statistics in a chart.

Attached is the updated sheet for the BAE Systems Granite State Regional. None of the top six spots changed, and the big (+/- 10) changes were in the middle of the pack, where they would have no real effect. The average ranking change was 3.29 places, the median was 2.

Also, note that the "average change" box needs to use the absolute value of the ranking changes, not the average of the changes themselves (which should always be 0).
