I think the only reason we didn't get called on it was that you guys were at the same time preventing us from getting to the tower to hang. Maybe the calls kind of canceled each other out. Anyways, I thought you had a really cool hanging system, and I know we would have picked you in eliminations if you hadn't already been taken. I remember our scouters going "Man, that robots pretty good!" which is a compliment from them.

Don't worry about the damage to our robot, it was a quick fix. And thats the reason we were crossing zones lol, you guys are too good at hanging. Also we didn't have our hanging system at kettering lol. Thanks for the compliments, but you and 67 had the best robots there.

at Pittsburgh in one of the seeding matches, 1114 grabbed onto the bar, and started pulling themselves up in the cool way that they do, but they weren't fast enough, and the match ended when the were about a foot away from locking on, which cut their power, and they fell down and hit the floor.

This isn't one from the tower, but it was pretty epic.

Arizona Regional, QF3-1 (if I recall correctly) ended with team 60 mostly on top of a flipped over team (don't remember who, might have been 3194). It was one of those "how did THAT happen?" moments. Amazingly enough, no penalties from that set of QFs--despite the teams playing like they were in a New England regional and on defense.

I think that happened twice... Once was us. (Of all the problems we had, that was our favorite)

The Chesapeake regionals saw a nice fall -- I believe it happened yesterday.
A robot winched itself up and looked good.
Then the entire lift mechanism broke off and the robot hit the floor hard. :ahh:
If anybody has video of it, please put on youTube or somewhere.
I'd love to show it to some friends.

I think you are talking about 272 in the Quarterfinals. It was a very loud snap. They landed on their wheels so rest of the bit is probably OK. Whatever doesn't kill them, only makes them stronger for Philly ;) Watch out!

I'm not sure if this counts as a fall or not, but when 2530's wheel fell off in a match, and they could still keep driving and righting themselves when they flipped, that was really impressive.
