2010 Midwest Regional
 

I'm a little surprised here hasn't been a thread about the Midwest Regional this year. It may be lacking some of the teams from last year (1114, 217, 1024) but still has a plethora of elite teams to make it exciting with 16, 71, 111, 1625. Anyone else excited?

I am extremely excited for Midwest this year since this will be my first year as a mentor since I graduated last year. I hope it will be a fun experience. I hope to see some really awesome looking robots.

2022 is ready and waiting for Midwest Regional. Just have to pack up a few things, and paint our bumpers.

This is the first time in six years that I won't be making it to the Midwest Regional. (Sad, I know!)

I'll be attending Boilermaker with 1720. But I'm still excited to hear all about Midwest. Best of luck to all teams!!

Last time I came here I took a train (just like this time) but I got here so late I got here in time for the semi-finals in 2008 just in time to watch 1024 practically light on fire.
This time I rode down much sooner and I got to get introduced to Chicago a little more thanks to my lovely tour guide Kelli.
I think I'll be able to enjoy the regional a whole lot more this time as well.

Ed, if you get bored in Chicago, it is a short trip south to the Boilermaker Regional!

I have stepped back from my involvement with FIRST this year so I will not be there until Saturday, and then only as a spectator. I haven't heard if anyone else will be providing one.
