lol...I would say that's one of those 6v0 match scenarios everyone has been talking about... Can't beat 'em, join 'em...

match 52 could be very crucial to the overall seedings.

Hopefully someone's recording the stream? I can't get to it from work.

Let's hope match 18 will put to rest that a good non-loop alliance can hit 20+ points.

Yes, join them, but the red alliance will likely want to boost their seeding score, so the blue alliance will have to defend their goals in order to maximize 2781, 2949, 2803 seeding points. If 2781, 2949, 2803 were smart, two of them would plug up their goals and the third would help 16, 1625 and 111 score. That way 16, 1625, 111 can't score for the blue alliance, in an effort to boost the red alliances seeding points.

Looks like the field gremlins are still active. In match 2, the blue alliance scores dropped to zero half way during the match.

This is the same field that was used in Wisconsin and the blue side never worked correctly there either. Guess they weren't able to fix it during the week.

Week 1 (at FLR) didn't have this issue. But last weekend when I was at Pitt, we had the issues. I am thinking it's the new update that they sent out for the extra 5 points that is messing somethings up.

Did anyone see 101?

It looks like they build a robot that drives when it flips over.

That was awesome. Looks like an entire robot, drives, kicker, and all. Then they actually had to use it when they did flip going over a bump!

I'm the volunteer who is broadcasting the stream this year and I am recording as I broadcast. I am just going to have one very long video file at the end of the day though, so I don't know how soon the recorded video will make it online.

I just noticed the teams in that match.

It's going to be interesting.

I'd recommend stopping the video recording at lunch, unless you already know the file size limitations of your recording system

Thanks for such a high-resolution stream. It's easily the best one I've watched this year for clarity.

Anyone there know what's going on with the field? There are usually only 1-2 robots moving. Autonomous seems to work, but then everyone dies in tele-op. I also have not heard the field fault signal at all this season. Did FIRST remove it?

16 didn't move in their last match. If Match 18 is going to be what you want it to be, that better get fixed.

*Edit* - they're moving.

Also, I've noticed they're calling carrying penalties here. 71 got a few, as did another team.

Finally....has disco returned in Chicago?

Wow.

71 has played two matches and their total Seeding Score is 0.
1732 who also played two is in first place with a score of 33.

Match 18 didn't disappoint. 31 seeding points to the victors!
