The DJ plays a LOT of Daft Punk during matches.
Looks like Eliminations will be very interesting. There are quite a few good robots there. |

Re: 2010 Midwest Regional
I gotta ask - How is it that 71 is so low in the standings? I just watched Q46, and they were extremely effective - they shot all 3 balls the whole field in auton, then scored rapidly in teleop. Have they just had astounding bad luck? (this is the first match of theirs I've managed to watch today, so if they didn't get inspected until now, I guess that'd make sense)

Re: 2010 Midwest Regional
From what I've been told, earlier in the day Beatty was being penalized for their kicker extending beyond the frame perimeter for more than 2 seconds. It looks like they've taken care of their issues, earning 73 seeding points in their last three matches. They've gone from 40th all the way to 8th place in standings.

Re: 2010 Midwest Regional
Match 65 was pretty exciting. Baxter put in a bunch of balls in a row, then two robots were hanging on the Blue tower at the same time.
I didn't realize how much the tunnel would interfere with short, center zone hangers. They just barely make it up. |
Re: 2010 Midwest Regional
That was 16, The Baxter Bomb Squad scoring a bunch. Then they and 2949 hung on the tower

Also, what's up with 2803? Looks like they aren't even fielding Human players.
