I kind of figured that. Same here.

By the way, I have a prediction for how long it'll take the L.A. inspectors to get every robot inspected: Until about 1 PM on Saturday.

(It won't take that long--more likely 9 AM Friday--but some robots get it twice or thrice.)

No predictions yet for West Michigan? I'm certain 1918 will be at the top and 2000 looked good in TC. I have to hope 904 is in there somewhere too.

That crazy kid from Team Overdrive and the crazy engineer from IFI will coast through the regional

That'd be one hell of a alliance.

If 2016 can figure out what broke on their arm in New Jersey (They fixed it, but they may modify it so that the weakness isn't there), they'll be one of the best teams at the Event.

Its no secret for the Hawaii regional.
359-368 alliance if possible.:)

After 359 locked up the Arizona Regional first seed on Friday of that event, I'd say it's definitely possible.

After watching practice matches at the BMR i think that 234 will be tough to beat in the elimination rounds.

3138, 1038, 379 at Buckeye

teams with a good chance at palmetto....

343
1319
1261
945
2815
1758
342

all these teams produce solid robots every year. and i dont think that this year will be an exception. i would dare to say that every one of these teams will be in elims, and at least three will be finalists

For the OKC Regional, my money is on 935, 1742, and 932 to win. But its also possible that 476 could make a comeback this regional, we'll just have to wait and see.

My post earlier regarding the West Michigan district event left out a team that I regrettably missed. Immediately after posting, I thought someone would have quickly added this team, but apparently not (yet).

So, along with my other suggestions, there is another team that deserves recognition in West Michigan this weekend, and that team is 2771 Code Red Robotics. They are a very strong 2nd year team, and they will be in the finals with 1918 and maybe 904 or 2000.

I also believe 2771, Code Red, will be streaming video from this event. Check out their website for details.

Since no one's bold enough to predict Philadelphia, I'll try my luck:

Wk. 4 Philadelphia:

Finals: 1) 103, 341, 84 v. 2) 2753, 3123, 395

The former will win.

Now let's see it happen! :D

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 71 is going to break their 2 year streak of falling in the quarterfinals and be a part of the winning alliance this year.

i agree with you chris... 230 almost always puts out a domination robot.... but the one thing that i would alter is 1124... i have a friend on the UberBots and i just don't think they will cut it this year... i know they one 3 straight at CT 06-08 but i just don't think they can pull it off this year... no offense to the UberBots though... i think that you are a strong team that puts out clean and efficient robots... and i wish you good luck at CT and Champs.

My personal experiences with 1124 on defense at WPI, plus the potential for iteration and a successful back autonomus mode, would make them a perfect second round pick and defensive power. I doubt they'll pull off what they did in 2008, but I'll be very surprised if they miss elims.
