What usually goes down in Atlanta?
 

Team 3204 is a rookie team, and we were wondering what generally goes down at the Championships?
Are there any events on Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday?
How long are you at the dome per day?
Any rules that would apply in Nationals but not in regionals?

Thursday: Chief Delphi Web Hug. Expect an announcement in the next week or two. Typically followed by the Rookie Meet and Greet--again, expect an announcement in the next week or two.

Also note: there is a series of presentations. I'm not sure of the schedule; I'm guessing it's somewhere on the FIRST website.

Also note that qualification matches start after lunch on Thursday.

Friday: Standard format.

Saturday: Closing Ceremonies are held while the finals matches are going on on Einstein. Plan to attend. Wrap party follows immediately. Plan on the ceremonies going way late; they always do.

Sunday: No FIRST events.

Changes: There are some changes, notably in a longer match schedule and the tournament rules. See Section 9 of the Manual; it has a section that calls out the changes.

Time at the Dome/GWCC: Expect the typical regional timeset, except that Saturday easily goes to 7:00PM some years. Also expect a massive human river going into the pits at opening every day.
