Re: Funny things to ask for on the PA system

At Javits NYC regional Im hoping to ask for "35 litres of water, 20 kilograms of carbon, four litres of ammonia, one and a half kilograms of lime, 800 grams of phosphorus, 250 grams of salt, 100 grams of nitre, 80 grams of sulphur, seven and a half grams of fluorine, five grams of iron, three grams of silicon and 15 other trace elements." and in like five minutes proceed to ask for an automail arm, leg and a mop" "the reason...... it didn't work as planned"
or
for a "simlish to english translator because our programers messed up...bad":)

The first one might be a little long, though funny. I'd go with the second.:)

Anyone that will never give them up or let them down.
(Team ____ asks for assistance from anyone who will never give them up or let them down...etc etc.)

...um...could someone translate this for me? (I think they're brewing gunpowder, but what's the 35 liters of water for?)

Ha! I love that one!

Another great one:

"Team ____ has lost Waldo. If anyone has found him, please show the PA system directors so we can fix it."

If I'm not mistaken, these are the raw ingredients for the human body. I remember the Cosmos where Carl Sagan mixed them all together in a big jar. Nothing happened.

You are correct-- but judging from the rest of that request, they're going for "Full Metal Alchemist." It would be pretty hilarious, but I, like others, wonder if it wouldn't be too long.

"Team ____ has lost their current ranking, and would like to have it back. Will ____, ____, and ____ loose their next match to restore it?"

-Laughed so hard at this one. :D

Not exactly FRC related but BSA....

Asking a rookie camp counselor (Counselor-in-Training, CIT) to go from Scoutcraft to the Waterfront for 200 feet of Shoreline. Very expensive, and the Pioneering class needs it now!

We asked for a flux capacitor every year. (Classic prank, we're not very creative). Last year, the head mentors had a meeting where they got a notice saying that this is unprofessional behavior and a waste of the FIRST guys' time. :(

I feel like asking for funny things on the PA is going out of style. I'm not sure if this is good or bad.
