So who got a suspension? It must have been in Match 45 - 1727/93/2102. And how do you get 1 hanging point in the standings (2102)?

I just watched match 45 and I did not see any robots hanging in that match so I am not sure. Also on a side note I have match videos (not cut to individual) that I will hopefully upload tonight but the internet connection I have is not the best so It should be up by like next Tuesday.

May somebody please post the alliances? I'm having trouble deciphering the elimination bracket numbers.

Semifinal 2, match 4: Did anybody else find it odd that 343 tried to hang so early? I just found it strange that they would take themselves out of play effectively so early; especially considering how close the last three matches were. At the end when it was revealed that they got a penalty and a yellow card for overextention it made it even more perplexing. They won, so I guess it really doesn't matter. I was just curious.

Any thoughts or things that I overlooked?

I was wondering the same thing. It seemed rather odd to deploy so early... there had to be a reason.

I believe they accidentally deployed so they decided to go ahead and hang to avoid getting any other penalties.

Plus it does take them almost the full 20 seconds to get the full hang

They did deploy early. Just before the match they were trying to zip tie something down, guess it did not work.

I was a GREAT call by their driving team and coach to hook up to the tower to not incur more penalties than the one they did. Smart move!

Slight mental lapse. They forgot to return the deploy switch to off before the match started. The stress down there can be extreme!

yes, it was a total accident. there are two switches to deploy the hanger, and at the beginning of the match, they were both flipped up. so, the second that telop started, it went out. so, i was hoping to avoid a yellow card by going to the tower and hanging immidiately instead of playing the match... but that didn't happen. o well, we still won the match ;)

and thanks so much to 1718 and 16. i was really really hoping that we would get picked by yall when i saw that you had paired up. it was a fun run, and we gave them a run for their money in the finals!

Thanks to all the members on 343 and 16. As a group we complemented eachother's abilities extremely well, and we took the (soon-to-be) world champions to a rubber match, as well as setting the Newton Scoring record.

Well played, and great job!

Re: Newton Division 2010

Newton turned out to be pretty exciting. We were the only division to see 3 final matches and we also had the high score of 25 (I think) for the entire set of elimination rounds. Congratulations to Newton Division and World Champion Teams 294, 67, and 177! You are gracious competitors and winners (and providers of cooling spray). Thank you to our AMAZING alliance partners 1718 and 343! It was a great set of matches and thank you for helping us look good in front of the Baxter CEO.
