FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Hey,
I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but when you go to watch the Championship from NASA at http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/robotics/ all you get are thumbnails of what's going on at each field, and no way to access the actual webcast. Does anyone know where I can find the actual webcast? Thanks, |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
I got teh same problem, anyone have a working webcast?
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Give it a little time for matches to start. I think maybe here at 9 when practice matches start or soon after the webcasts might start working.

Try the link underneath the picture?
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Thanks everyone, NASA finally updated the page to include links. All fields are now active on that page.

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Is anybody able to get the newton field feed? I'm getting all the other feeds.
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Hey guys!
This is my first year watching the webcast. Do they usually post the match list online too? Just randomly curious. :P Thanks! |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Yes, the match list is usually posted online.

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Curie is working for me.
Newton isn't and still didn't try the others. Today is the practice day, right? |

Newton is now up for me. Thanks NASA!

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Well, I think its a sign. The feed name for curie field is reflector-44469
Nuff said |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Thanks NASA!
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
The camera on Curie needs to be moved to I can actually see the field lol
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Trying to watch it during school. Cant see Newton :( but Good luck to all teams.
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
If you are having problems watching the webcast try using Mozilla Firefox insted of Internet Explorer. The Windows Media Player will open up within Firefox and not Internet Explorer.
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Ever since they posted the link shortly after 9 AM Atlanta time I have not had a problem with the webcast.
Thanks NASA! |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
It works for me... though I should probably be paying more attention to school right now. Thanks NASA!
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Thank you NASA - The only problem is I have no idea which division to keep an eye on. Anyone have any recommendations?
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
the only problem I have is Einstein is a little bit brighter (NASA / A/V's Video Settings) is brighter then the other Fields.

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
I had all kinds of fun yesterday until I followed the suggestion on the NASA website (on the right hand side) and downloaded Media Player 10. I actually downloaded Media Player 11, I think. It worked beautifully after that. Just wonderful.

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Apparently the Archimedes feed has been freezing all day, every two to three seconds.
But it's likely just my dad's internet connection. Anyone else notice this? -Nick |

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Most issues can be relieved by upgrading to Windows Media Player 11.
Any other issues will probably result in upgrading your internet connection. :P |

I still can't open it in Windows Media Player. I tried downloading 11, but it said that I had a better version, and they won't let me downgrade...I'm just using VLC now. |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
I had some crashes yesterday trying to watch Galileo. Stream died after 2 secs. Otherwise than that its all good.

Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Am I the only one getting no sound on the webcast?
Edit: Fixed! I guess I should have complained about it sooner... |
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
Is anyone else haveing the voice and video not synced on Einstein?
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
I have sound. But during the eliminations, Archimedes was the only one that consistently had sound. Curie, Galileo, and Newton were almost constantly out.
|
Re: FIRST Championship Webcast Problems?
For those of us home, is there anything else thats going to be broadcasted with the end of Einstein or are we done?
