How to customize the Dashboard
 

I'm sure that someone has already posted this question but my search didn't turn up anything. I was wondering if anyone had any good tutorials on how to edit the dashboard in LABview. I've seen the tutorial on FRCmastery and while I'm quite skilled at LABview, I don't quite get it. My team's build season is over but I was wondering for next year. Any suggestions on a good tutorial?

Which FRCMastery video did you watch and what part didn't you understand?

my mistake, it was not a video, my memory decieved me. lol. it was actually the page you just handed me. I understand up until you have to supply that data from the FRC cRIO Robot Project to the Dashboard. I find the instruction a little hard to follow.

I'm also a little confused how you know which number to store data on. (like how gyro is put on 42)

I believe it doesn't matter, as long as the corresponding Dashboard app running on the Classmate uses the same array element to retrieve the data.

do you think you or someone else could make a tutorial on how to put data on it? I fear the pdf was a bit sketchy, least for me. Maybe how to put an error cluster in the dashboard. thats something that could be useful.

Take a look at Chapter 6 of the FRC Programming Guide that comes with the LabVIEW installation.
