Joystick Compatibility with LabVIEW

My team is about to purchase a new 3-D Joystick for our Mecanum bot chassis and we were wondering if this joystick is legal and compatible with the labview framework.

The joystick is the Logitech 3D Pro Joystick - link here.

Thank you!

Re: Joystick Compatibility with LabVIEW

Any joystick that windows can recognize as a joystick (which is almost all of them) will be able to run with the FRC driver station. As long as the proper drivers are installed on the classmate (or whatever computer you are using if this is out of competition), it should run (all of the handling is done DS-side, the robot just gets data from the DS)

And yes it is legal (any USB-based device is allowable by the rules)

We tested that one last year. It works fine.
