Re: Vote For FIRST
How the heck can an organization with only 68 members listed on their website link possibly be ahead of one that has many thousands, especially when you are limited in frequency of voting???
Please get on the horn and contact everyone you know to support us with their vote... |
Re: Vote For FIRST
I don't have any faith in FIRST using this money for something that will actually directly benefit my team or any other team.
Lately FIRST has been cutting costs by charging us more and giving us less. I don't see that model changing by them receiving $200,000. |

Re: Vote For FIRST
I'm trying to vote, but the page keeps constantly refreshing every time I pull it up. Any idea what the problem is? (I'm assuming it's on my end.)

Re: Vote For FIRST
"EVERYONE!At Pitney Bowes, we think they're all winners—
and we're donating $9,000 to EACH of these deserving charities. Special congratulations to FIRST®, winner of our 90th Anniversary Innovation Election!" Good job guys :D |
Re: Vote For FIRST
OK, those of you who have not yet voted and are OK with spending 5 minutes doing something that could potentially bring a lot of money to an organization you like even if you don't know what they will use the money for*, please vote for FIRST. Only a few hours left and we're behind.
*NOTE: By complying with my request you potentially could be paying my salary as a FIRST Senior Mentor, buying my business cards, providing me with a name tag and one shirt every few years and enabling me to receive printed FIRST promotional material. I promise to use all of it to my best ability by providing support to YOU, THE TEAMS. Just vote. |

I'm shocked jumpstart has gained so quickly in one week. FIRST needs to learn about better techniques to get public support ! Regardless of who wins, I think public voting will continue and organizations with the best connection to their community will succeed. FIRST needs a better connection with their community, they should consider using Facebook or Twitter to a greater extent. |
