FIRST Playing cards? PLEASE comment.

Would you buy this? A deck of cards with various robot parts and FIRST people on the face and possibly our team logo on the back? At most $5 per deck. Please tell if you would be interested in buying before we organize this fund-raising idea.

Thanks!

Sounds kinda cool. I'd probably buy one. It'd be cool to see other team's logos as well.

And various game logos too

I agree, team logos (maybe, but some people would be disappointed their logo isn't on it) and game logos would be cool. I'd probably buy a pack.

I'd want to see some pictures though of how they look before I buy them.

I would think notable teams (HOF, Championship winners and founding teams that are still around) along with some important people and founder's award recipients. Also with some information on them on the card.

A suggestion: make sure you touch base with everyone that you want to highlight on your deck of cards whether it is a photo of a person, a team, a team logo, or another team's robot. Make sure you have their permission before you go to the expense of printing the cards.

You mean like a deck of cards that I could play solitare with, right? Cause then maybe.

If its like trading cards, then prolly not.

Yah, a deck of cards would be a ton of fun. Dean Kamen the ace of spades, Woodie Flowers as the king of hearts, etcs...

I have a deck of Baseball style ones from 2007 that were made by the makers of the Behind the Design Series. They were pretty sweet!

I'm pretty sure you can't use the likeness of a govt official/NASA employee, but Dave would HAVE to be on the Joker if you could.

I bet you could, as long as you ask him first.

I would love to see cards with team logos on them! That would be really cool, fairly easy to do, and could be region specific - and getting permission to use a logo is a lot easier than permission to use a likeness!

I like the idea of having different editions, like games, people, teams, awards, events, etc.

No matter what you put on them, I'll probably end up buying some. I'd like one for myself, plus they'd make great end-of-year gifts for graduating seniors, mentors, and other people.
