What an awesome up beat event this was. I just went as a spectator, for once, and had a great time. I definitely think that if the Fire Birds have this event again I will be bringing my girls. Thanks to 433 for hosting a wonderful event!

MOE would like to thank the Firebirds for hosting the girlPOWER event! It was a groundbreaking event and it was so fun!! All of the girls, mentors, and volunteers from MOE 365 had a great time! Congratulations on being on the winning alliance with MOE, and 709!

Kudos for a great event Firebirds!

Additional kudos to the teams as well for being so great about doing quick turnarounds for matches (since there were only 10 teams there)

Thanks to all the volunteers and family members that used their time and talents to help run the event, take down the field, and pack the truck. I only hope it goes as well at the Duel this weekend.

Loved 1218 donating "1219" for "The Orphans" (who took the 1st seed!) maybe we can get another spare bot or two next year so more team robot-less young women can participate.

I hope someone who had a camera (I did not this time) can post the "group photo" taken after the speach given pre-alliance selection.

If everything worked out right, I have attached the group photo. If not, I will try again. If you want a higher resolution image, let me know and I will send one directly to you as file sizes are limited on this site.

Special thanks to MOE mentors (Duckie, Mike, etc.) who stayed late to help us tear down the field. That was a huge help.

Thanks to Vulcan Robotics (1218) for the use of a second robot. It made a huge difference.

It was great to see RoboDoves make the long distance trip, Father Judge for involving the St. Hubert's girls and all of the others who participated. We hope to make this an even better event next year. As soon as dates are finalized, there will be an announcement made on Chief Delphi
