Looking for some FIRST posters
 

I am in the process of completely redoing my room and need some decoration. Anyone have team posters, or know where I can get some? Or stuff from FIRST? Your team could be right next the WRX poster in my room :P.

Well I was about to check the official FIRST store, but it appears as thought the store is being completely redesigned. There are a few links at the top that seem to promise more customization, so check there in a few days.

You might have a fun time printing one, but I have one of this year's targets on the ceiling of my room (that's the only place it would fit :P ). It was being thrown away because it printed wrong, so I took it home and found a use for it. I've also put up a lot of pictures that were taken at competitions, and some lovely drawings that were created by my teammates and mentors on the back of the children's menus at Coney Island after an event.

...but if you were looking for something a little less..."trashy," I can't do much for you :/

The last time I went to Atlanta (2006) they gave each team 5 Championship posters, though I have no idea if they still do that though.

What might be neater is to print your own posters. Staples does it for a pretty penny, (like $40 for a typical poster size) but Walmart does it for a a little over $20. Pick your favorite robot photo (or team photo), slap some text on there, upload it and you are good to go!

You can also print it at home and use a free service online to make it so you can print it out and tape the pages together, and it does look good from a distance, but I'd splurge and have Wally World print it out for you.

they give posters every year at championship.... the 2010 ones are a bit smaller than the previous ones.... if im correct. i don't think FIRST handed out posters in 2009 at the Championship

I'm suprised I haven't heard anything of this. I have been to the championships in '08 and '10. I'll have to see if we have any. Thanks!
