Word to the wise. If you paritcipated in both drafts tonight (all nine of you) you are safe for the season. For the other three, you need to participate in at least one draft over the next three days.

I've got you in the participating group, both drafts.

Incidentally, I think Barry and I are going to do very well in Utah, as (due to a bunch of folks taking randoms/not showing up) we split what I think are the top 4 teams between us...

Live picks count as participation, you are safe.

And to everyone, just because your safe doesn't mean you should start slacking.

Yes. We do have 5 drafts coming after build season. MSC happens right before Week 6; the four Championship drafts happen the weekend before the event. Plus there are waivers, missing teams, and the occasional adding team to deal with.

i was just curious because i had missed a few drafts early in the year.

It's missing drafts in a row that gets you in trouble. Missing a draft here or a draft there isn't a big deal.

Oh, I always thought it was just a counter and if you missed a total of X, you would get kicked.

I forgot to send along a PM that I wanted randoms for Utah :/ I've been out of the house all day, and didn't get a chance to do it at lunch or at work.

I'll definitely get tomorrow's list in.

I can only recall two who did not participate in tonight's draft. Josh and Kara.

I didn't see anything from Tim in Utah.

Oh, and Kara--you got the randoms.;)

I'm not surprised he passed on Utah. The teams there aren't very well known.
Tim sent me a list for Buckeye.

I'll go ahead and plan on taking Colorado. I won't be able to run anything Thursday or Friday, though--other plans.

Has anyone in the past tried corelating average draft position with end standings? While I imagine most winners were those who picked better than others, especially with roughly equal average positions, it's more of an interesting statistical analysis.

I've thought about doing it, but haven't gotten around to it. I've been busy with other things in the league (like boot % and drafting software and my current project, a "little" device to help make lists).
