Here it goes again!
The scores after the last round: Code:
Karibou 16http://chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/35694 As always, the deadline is theoretically Saturday at midnight Eastern. Go! |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
It's a Fembot!!!
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
I think those manipulator arms illegally extend outside the bumper zone...
wait a minute, where would you put the bumpers... something is not right here.... |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
I think they had better use tie-downs.
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
"I was told to stand here and hold these up as you paint the outside..."
"Guys... Guys... Guys...? Are you still out there?" *crickets* |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
The apprentice to the Tooth Fairy took a wrong turn on the way to a pillow and ended up being shipped to Atlanta in the team's crate. The team and the robot have never been the same.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
See, I told you it was too big. I have to stand on blocks to touch the ceiling. And where are the air holes?
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
This is where they hold the auditions for the Sprockettes.
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Air hole: free
Snacks: 20 dollars Hiring student lookalike: 10 dollars an hour Working on the robot after ship date: priceless |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
"If it fits, it ships."
"Uh, this is FedEx, not USPS." "Wait, so we can't fill up the crate with students and have them all make it to Atlanta? DRAT! I guess we can't go now, with the way airfare is these days." |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Kelsey: "How can I think outside the box when they won't let me out of he box?"
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Teams beware: THIS is what happens when you don't strap your robot down firmly...
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Yet another example of why you have to be careful with superglue!
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Me? I'm learning to brace myself to the ceiling. This year's opening ceremony will be a little more exciting
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
You have no idea how much reading these is making me laugh xD
I suppose I should throw one into the mix: "How one innocent game of hide and seek ended in one girl's cross country trip to Georgia. Let this be a lesson to us all...always read the labels on boxes..." |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
Alright. Now let's see 469 and the Simbots against this!
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
This is not the droid your looking for.
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
It's a good thing they gave her safety glasses. While she may be stuck inside a crate for several weeks without any food or water, at least she won't lose an eye.
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #317
You all have it wrong. This picture is really blown up several times, and shows the inside of 1124's battery shipping box. In reality, she's about 2 inches tall and provides power to the entire robot by running around in circles.

Kelsey: ":("
Offscreen upperclassmen: "Stop whining, we all had to do it. Its called initiation." |
