BUZZ 175 is trying to figure out what is going on. We are planning to come but do not see our name on the list (now 25 teams with a max of 24???). Asking Ed Fourcier! Did we not officially register? Was check messed up at our end???

Stop asking so many questions Stuart :p

Update: BUZZ 175 will be attending RiverRage 14. We signed/registered back in July, though there seems to have been an issue with the submission of our payment. Unsure whether or not it is due to lack of communication, but we are being allowed to attend.

See you all there.

Can't wait! :)

NJ is not considered part of New England by any measure I can recall...

One of my college professors argued me to the death about that! And then my cousins who live down there consider themselves to live in New England. Oh well, they need to come up with their own regional name. ;)

Haha, I spent the first 18 years of my life in New Jersey and no one I know down there considers themselves or NJ to be part of New England.

The NJ regional was known as the Mid-Atlantic regional for a very long time, up until 2004 I believe.

Haha I lived in Maryland for 10 years and for some reason I call it the South now!

Sounded for a minute like there were actually some New England wannabees.

They are just jealous that we have a regional name that trumps the Northeast, Southwest, etc. ;)

After qualifying rounds, below are the top 8 seeds:
  1. 811
  2. 40
  3. 134
  4. 1058
  5. 1519
  6. 175
  7. 131
  8. 238
No "in-picking" was permitted during alliance selections. A historic 1-8, 1-8 draft was used instead of the "serpentine" draft. Below are the elimination round alliances:
  1. 811, 78, 237
  2. 40, 1922, 348
  3. 134, 88, 190
  4. 1058, 2648, 501
  5. 1519, 1073, 3126
  6. 175, 20, 172
  7. 131, 125, 166
  8. 238, 839, 1729

Elimination rounds are not the normal FIRST style, but instead use a double-elimination tournament format.

Excellent event with excellent teams. Great experience; looking forward to next year.
