NHTechfest 2010
 

I am proud to announce that New Hampshire Tech Fest will be returning this year! This event will once again be an all-day extravaganza of enlightening science and technology demonstrations, hands-on activities, and overall cool experiences. We are inviting all middle and high school students and their parents to join us for our second-annual day of discovery and learning in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Techfest will have a change of venue this year, moving to Windham High School, as team 241 will be starting a new team there that we will mentor, and wish to get the community excited about STEM and FIRST

Once again the Main Event for the day will be an apple tossing trebuchet contest with an amazing prize package. We would like to invite all NH, MA, and VT area FIRST teams to enter. The updated rules and official prize listings will be posted on our website soon

The event will take place on October 23rd from 9 to 3 and is free to attend. NHTechfest is the only satellite event for the USA Science & Engineering Festival in all of New England

We would like to ask your teams to advertise the event at your school.

Is anyone else going? I am looking forward to it. Check out the website. Looks like there will be lots to see and do.

Numbers are looking positive, last year we had 700+ spectators, so we are hoping for atleast that amount.

It turned out even better than I hoped. A lot of fun and a lot of people.
