[FTC]: Cleaning Floor Mats

Does anyone have a way of cleaning the floor mats? Ours have collected a lot of dirt and dust from peoples shoes during the past season and I would really like to see them like they looked before.

Not going to happen, but 409 spray brings it very close. Secret is that the field reset people wear socks not shoes.

Yep, we have a no-shoes policy for our field. We were able to sweep most of the debris up at the competitions we attended though.

Socks are the way to go. Actually, we work in a basement so we already need our shoes off. I dunno what to tell people who practice in a warehouse or machine shop.

We've cleaned our field many times. Use Paint thinner and a rag, and that should take mostly everything out.

Now that we have two teams sharing the practice field, we have a firm "Field must be vacumed after every practice" policy.

Plus we also have a "No Boots" policy.

This is our third year with the field and it still looks pretty good.

Phil.
