I never thought 2056 would make a bot with more than one degree of freedom.

Watching thunderchickens play is incredible. They are the best team I saw in action today by a bit. Their driving is truly phenomenal and their minbot is the fastest I have seen.

2056, 217, 1126, 191 -- not necessarily in that order -- are absolutely dominating FLR. Good on you, guys!

Thanks a lot. We're just doing our best to have fun I guess. But your guy's minibot is crazy good. Nice job. Also congrats to your team for having a mentor win woodie flowers

340 not doing badly from what I saw. Pretty much agree on your selection too. Alliance picking will be tricky. I'm going to FTC regional, so I'll miss the fun tomorrow afternoon.

There have been a couple of very entertaining matches today, when enough good robots are on the field together. Us(191) plus 1511 verses 217 was one of those matches I remember, turned into a very competitive, high scoring affair. Excited to see 217 + 2056 vs. 1126 in tomorrows qualifications. Tomorrow's elimination rounds should be littered with these good matches and I am stoked to compete in them. Good luck to everybody tomorrow!

After seeing tube placement by some of these teams, it no longer seems unreasonable to expect an eventual full grid logo array. The only problem they face is staying out of each others' way. Our team should be so lucky.

Heck of a day. Good luck to all teams tomorrow. And if your reading this (instead of sleeping) please please please please make a pick list. It's embarrassing for everyone that takes this competition seriously when a team that is in the top 8 is making an alliance selection for a team that isn't even at the regional or looking up at the big screen and picking the highest on the list. Do some scouting, do some research, you put so much work into your robots, don't get lazy now.

I can't wait for Saturday, I think the elimination rounds are going to be very exciting. This game may challenge as one of the best all time. Can't wait to see it played at the highest level.

1511 just booked for the night and pretty much finished our pick list. It definitely was one heck of a day. One crazy regional too so far. Can't wait to see how things go tomorrow!

We're on the watch for improving teams :)

Thanks!

If I could have picked only one thing to go right this year, it would have been Paul Jacobs winning Woodie Flowers. That was awesome!

...and has anyone else noticed that throwing tubes is a VERY BAD IDEA when your alliance is offensively outclassed?
