Robot CAD Models inside of SolidWorks 2010-2011

After some great work from R&D, and requests from Chief Delphi members, we have placed robot model files directly in SolidWorks. Files from FRC 2010 kit of parts, FTC Textrix, FLL Lego, VEX, and GEARS EDS, MATE, are located inside of SolidWorks.

1. Select Design Library (rght pane).
2. Click SolidWorks Content.
3. Ctrl Click the folder of the robot parts and select a download location.
4. Unzip the folder.
5. Select Add File Location and select the folder you just downloaded.
6. Your folder appears in the Design Library.
Now all the part bitmaps are placed in the design library to drag and drop into the assembly.

To get your robot parts, learn by watching this video

You only need to be connected to the internet during the download.

Awesome! You know what teams need and go all the way to provide it. It's one reason I love using Solidworks.

Thanks a million. :]
