They are in Andy's list: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...0&postcount=79

Does that mean that Indiana has officialy given up on the northwest corner of the state? Are we no longer welcome to call ourselves "Hoosiers" ?? :p

(For those that don't know, NWI and I also believe the Southwest corner observe central daylight time due to their proximities to other large municipalities).

Good Point. Though the majority of the state, including where IRI is held, is now on Eastern time.

But it is daylight saving time, right? It's just CDT, not EDT.

Ugh.

We're on Eastern time, folks - same as Ambler and Exton PA, and Ewing, NJ. It's the same time as Orlando, FL and Suwanee, GA, same as Warren, Ohio, which is on the same time as Lawrence North High School.

So, 66 - automatic bids = how many teams left?

Only the 4 previous year's winners get automatic bids?

I live in Ambler, PA and I never know what time it is. Ask anybody. ;)

Yes. Part of the "winnings" has been an automatic invite to the following year.

Other than last year's IRI champions, nobody is explicitly guaranteed an invitation to compete. I'm pretty confident that the "what does this team bring to IRI" factor will put the host teams high enough on the pile to make the list, though.

With the number of teams increasing in Indiana every year that would be unsustainable.

Don't feel dumb. At least you know what time it is.

John was anxiously awaiting the list to come out at noon Eastern, 11 am Central. Today.
