I got mine in the mail yesterday. Hope you enjoy the byproducts of my blood, sweat, and tears (two of those literal, one metaphorical). :D

Cards are done and in the envelopes. Stamps on the way home from theater and in the mail they go.

All of my cards are written up!!!! :D Getting the stamps today on the way to work (yay for there being a post office on the way!) and then mailing them out tomorrow! (I have a few other FIRSTers that I am sending cards to that didn't actually sign up, but that I still did cards for.)

Eh heh...so a few Facebook friends have reported that those envelopes have arrived at their destinations in rather rough shape. If yours arrived in poor shape, I'm sorry!

My inner engineer would love to figure out the root cause of this problem, and 21 cards going all over the country should be a good set of data. I mailed all of these in one batch from a local post office, where I paid the First Class Nonmachineable rate (as its contents couldn't flow through standard machinery). Only one of these was stamped Do Not Bend in my presence by the clerk, who promised to stamp the others later. (This same clerk was none too thrilled to have to manually print postage for 21 letters, as the US Postal Service apparently doesn't make a 64-cent stamp.)

If yours arrived rough, would you mind snapping a picture and emailing it to me? My email address is william@[My CD username]Industries.com.

Thanks!

I haven't gotten yours yet, Billfred, but I'll be sure to report in when I do!

I did get cards from Alex D. and Kelli T. today, though! It was a great way to perk me up :D Thank you!

Drop my cards in the mail tonight. Received cards from Kelli T. and Billfred.

Billfred's fought the USPS and lost... photographic evidence is on it's way.

Somebody has to take a pick of what actually arrived from Billfred for the rest of us to see ;>

After making sure Kara's went through all right, I sent out the rest of them today!
Expect them in a few days! (depending on your location  )

I haven't gotten anything yet, but that's probably because Michigan has essentially been shut down the past two days. Whoo ice!

I finished my cards just now! All addressed and stamped! I'll drop them off at the mailbox tomorrow, so hopefully everyone gets them by the end of the week! This was a fun project! Thanks, Kara!

Michigan is completely shut down unless you live just north of Detroit <mumblemumblenosnowdaysmumblemumble>. Hopefully everything will get back to normal over the next few days! I know that the postal workers are still delivering, but I imagine that transportation from one office to the next is going painfully slowly.

I was going to finish mine tonight and get them sent out tomorrow, but I apparently have no envelopes o.O I'll be sending mine off Thursday morning on my way to school.

I could not find out what this one battered letter was that came in the mail yesterday. Just today I was talking with a few kids on our team about the Christmas cards. Yours was quite destroyed with a little card that said happy Festivus. Haha.

Sounds like the state that it arrived in here. Still, it was neat getting a little Festivus card, and the card itself is still intact, so I'll be going about improvising myself a little pole now :D

I've got my cards, but I need stamps yet, so I might not have them out until Saturday, what with having to deal with final exams the next couple days, but we'll see. I might end up snowed into my house too, in which case it might be a little later, but hopefully it doesn't come to that

Mine are all stamped and ready to go. I'll drop them off on the way to school today. It sounds like almost everyone will have them sent by the end of the week, so hopefully all of them will be received before next weekend!

I'm still waiting and eager to see Billfred's...item. I told my mom that if a battered letter arrives, it's for me, and she shouldn't worry about it. Hopefully it will make it to my mailbox...

I received yours Billfred.... and it looks like they just ripped open the envelope. This isn't the first I've had issues getting some in the mail though. I took pictures though and will send them your way. The only stamp visible on mine is 'non-machinable' (very faintly) on front, twice. It made me most sad. The only thing left in the envelope was the tiny 'Happy Festivus' card.
