Yamin Orde, home of 2214 Destroyed in Fire
 

Another casualty of the devastating fire in Northern Israel has been the youth village of Yamin Orde, home to team 2214. Many of you may remember the tall kipot-wearing Israelis, 75% of them immigrants from Ethiopian, participating at Championships in 2008 and 2009. Home to orphans from all countries, this village has been critical in the lives of many. Since 2214 was founded in 2007, it has been mentored by the Israeli Navy Submarine Repair Facility in Haifa.

Please let us know what we can all do to help. We remember fondly our time working with 2214 at the 2008 champs. They are wonderful group of people and we want to do whatever we can to support them during this time of need.

Latest news is that while the village needs to be rebuilt, the team will participate this year. Am Yisroel Chai!
