FIRST edition Windchill help

Hi everyone

We wish to start using PTC's Windchill, but can't really understand how to work with it..

We managed to create the project , and all the teammates created their users on first.ptc.com.. but when we try to add them to the project
(Project-->Team-->Add members) the search query can't find them... weird :s

any suggestions why this might happen?

Thanks in advance
Team Artemis #3083 :)

Don't use the search feature, Type in the email addresses of the members and add them manually. In the add member window use the email invite tool at the bottom. Type in email addresses and click the "add>>" button once people are on the list to the right click "apply" then click okay. each person should get an email like the one below. Have them click the "join project" in the top right corner. They should then use their PTC login and everything should work.

Re: FIRST edition Windchill help

Windchill is a great program we have been using it for years now. One time we had the same problem as you guys. We found out that for some reason PTC was only working with "gmail" accounts. So we had a few of our members just make new emails (which worked out okay because now they have a team specific email account.) This even happened when we tried to add them manually as well (The non-gmail accounts never got the message invite in their email). So I would look and see if that is the problem, and see if changing the email account helps.

If it is still not working, we can help you guys figure out whats going on.

:)
