Push Button & Toggle Switch Integration

So for next year's game our team was looking into push button and toggle switches to control some of the robots functions. Although, the other students and myself do not know what to exactly use for the integration. Would it be a usb chicklet or something along the lines?

You would use the cypress I/O module.

Hmm I was looking at the I/O module and just skipped over it. Well I will get the programmers hard to work on that because I do think that it would be much easier to have a operator console with just push buttons and toggle switches.

We have used toggle switches and push buttons for several years. We were a bit put off by the cypress board to start with (we thought it would be hard to interface with) but dude, it was easy and was almost plug and play! It is very useful to have a custom control board every year.

Yeah it seems pretty simplistic for me and I'm a mechanical guy! If we have any questions about it I will surely direct them to you.
