Re: Source/version Control

Mike, thanks for the great tutorial.

I have been using SVN for our team for the last two years. We have a WAN repository set up on http://www.svnrepository.com/ They offer a plan that starts at $4/month and we don't have to open source the code. The WAN option allows updating from various locations - school, home, workshop so we can get at the code when needed. The only catch is access to the code at competitions because we often don't have internet access.

On a personal level, I love SVN/Apache/Trac solution. I use it everyday for work, and it is very customizable and works on almost any hardware. I have used it on "off-lease" and Atom computers. I am still investigating other soultions. What I have found so far is Google Code Repositories, and SourceForge have really integrated solutions with other revision control systems.
This is an interesting page:

Would you mind posting a simple explanation of how to use Issue (as Google code calls it) or Bug tracking? I have found where to create and edit "status values" and some other stuff, but I am confused on how to use it along side TortoiseSVN.
