I don't see why not :) . Just make sure your your video stays within the limits and has all other necessary components.

Re: 1st annual FRC RUV Comp

I'm embarrassed to have posted on my own thread this many times now.

All videos must be submitted by Thursday, March 3rd. That's in six days.

I've been impressed with all the videos I've seen posted on CD so far. The Robowranglers, the Mighty Monkey Wrenches, etc..

Will some of the people who made those great robots and videos please join? Most of you qualify if you just add a few pictures of design and fabrication.

Official updated contest rules can be found here:
http://suburbots2115.wordpress.com/ruv-comp/

It would be sad if there were no applicant teams on the first year of this.

If you change the limit down to 1 minute, heres my video... If not, then don't bother entering it, though it performs all the other parts of your challenge.

Re: 1st annual FRC RUV Comp

Thank you for your submissions boarder3512 and Grim Tuesday. While Grim Tuesday's video is technically not within the limits and lacks build period process footage, I've decided to accept it, given that including that one, there are only two submissions.

If anyone else has a video showcasing their robot and wants to join, please submit by midnight today.

Voting will start tomorrow at 6:00pm. It will continue until Saturday at midnight.

SuburBot, I see your team is from northern Illinois. Will you guys be attending the Wisconsin Regional in Miwaukee? We'll be there.

I made this a while back ago, not knowing of this little game, but I'll upload it anyways. It may not have all of the guidelines.

I missed judged the time I would need to edit the footage before the deadline so i won't be submitting this year :( sorry

I'm excited to see other people's videos though

Re: 1st annual FRC RUV Comp

There are three final participating teams and videos.

Team 639 (Code Red Robotics): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo2RGj2aH4M

Team 1716 (Redbird Robotics): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBhu-wqdJZA

Team 256 (Robo-Rams): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57r22IefIsI

To vote, leave the team number of the winner in a post. If you don't have a Chief Delphi account, you can email your vote to suburbots2115@gmail.com. You can only vote for one team. Please don't vote for your own, and watch every video before voting.

The winner will be announced on Monday.

Boarder3512, no my team will not be at Milwaukee. It will, however, be at the Midwest Regional in Chicago on week 3. I will be there that Saturday.

No one voted.

At this point, this is ridiculous.

RUV Comp is cancelled for 2011.

Not sure if it will be tried again.
