WINDOWS 7 REGISTRY HELP!!!

Hi, I am in dire need of a windows 7 home premium x64 registry back-up. Many or my programs have become unstable and close randomly because of some unknown error. I've done some troubleshooting and I've narrowed it down to a serious registry problem but i cant for the life of me figure out what it is. So far only internet explorer (not that i really use it, but some programs open IE rather than my default browser for certain online tasks) and AIM. If you know another way to fix the problem please let me know, i would greatly appreciate your help. Feel free to IM, PM, email or reply. Thank you for your time

Virus? Download Microsoft Security Essentials (free virus scanner, integrates with Windows Vista and 7), run a full scan, and report back.

Whatever you do, avoid programs that claim to clean the registry. They're basically useless at best, and are more likely to harm than help.

Thank you very much Tristan but I've had Microsoft security essentials since I got my computer. Ive done multiple full scans and the real-time protection is on. MSE did find about 5 viruses but they were removed since 1/2/11. I'm doing one last scan right now to be sure but this problem doesn't seem to be virus related.

htere is a command line that can be run in safe mode to restore sysytem files.

I had a server that got infected after 30min of being installed. removed threat but had to run the command to fuix random errors.

SuperAntiSpyware, Antimalware, Spybot, Norton Endpiont. these are some of what I use:D

You could reload your computer. Guranteed fix. Just save your important stuff to a harddrive on the side.
