It would be cool if he did wear the hat but unlikely, he might forget like the rest of us would too! Maybe he would perform at the FIRST Championship now that would be amazing! I love the BEP and it would be cool if he wrote a song about FIRST and how nerdy we all compared to rest of the world! Ha!

FIRST never forgets, if he uses social media, send him messages about FIRST. Though, you know what they say if you dabble in FIRST you get sucked in.

I never watch the halftime show (I watch football for football. Not for concerts. I could do without all the bells and whistles and just get back to the game) and looking for an artist wearing a baseball cap isn't going to make me watch the halftime show.

Though I do believe he will come here (St. Louis) because they said that it will not be the last time seeing him. I do know that building him a robot will be difficult. I have a picture from when B.E.P. came to St. Louis for their concert and he had a special performance. I will post shortly!

i'll probably be watching it because of the game that dean said their "still" playing. Not the halftime show

highly doubt Bridgestone (sponsor of the halftime show) and the NFL would ever let him do it.

90% will.i.am is performing at st. louis and 40% he still has the hat 10% he he wears it at the superbowl and st. louis

Unlikely, They have a job to do and unfortunately that job isn't to spread FIRST to the football masses, but hey, I've been surprised before.

I think, that we will all be treated to a special concert at champs!

Of course, the fact someone like him came on for Kick-Off is HUGE exposure for FIRST.

Plus he did alot of tweeting about it, which can never hurt!

Well FIRST just got a plug on WMUR News 9 in New Hampshire stating Will.i.am was un in NH chilling with some students for the Kick-off of their competition...... Any press is good press....

Honestly, I'm glad Will.i.am decided to come to the kick-off.
It was his choice alone to come. He could've skipped it, but even if how awkward it was:o , he still took out the time of his schedule to come and talk a bit and say hello.

If he wears the hat at Super Bowl, awesome! If not, that's fine. If does a concert, whoohoo! If not, ... well I admit there'll be a bit of disappointment, but it's still fine.

After all, he came to the kick-off right? Let's continue the Gracious Professionalism, and who knows, he might bring a couple friends.:)

I have my doubts about him wearing the hat. I know for sure that Joseph and I will be watching at least the halftime show to see if he does.

If he does, it will be good publicity.

As i read this thread, I look up and i see Will. I. Am. on the news. What is he doing? wearing the FIRST hat.

Turns out the local Massachusetts news (which is I think is the most watched news network around here) is about to show the story of why Will. I. Am. was in Manchester.

:D :D :D :D :D I live in GB. People have just been going crazy these last two weeks. It is so exciting. I read earlier on this forum that one team will skip the Superbowl for a robotics meeting. Definitely not 1716 - we'll have our eyes glued to the TV. I really want to see will.i.am with the FIRST hat too.

Even better than the FIRST 2011 Logomotion hat, it would be awesome if there is a shoutout instead to STEM. People may notice the hat, but people will be aware if someone actively encourages how cool science, technology, math and engineering is. I am not watching the superbowl but I may pop in for the half-time show to catch it since my dad probably will watch.
