Win7 Activation Fix

This is what happened:
  1. I Boot from the USB by pressing either ESC, F10, F11 when the classmate is starting (The reason I don't know which one is because I pressed them all at the same time..)
  2. I see windows is not genuine message
  3. I do step 1 again
  4. I still get the same message
  5. I click "activate online"
  6. I download and run the Microsoft plug in that checks your copy of windows
  7. It tells me my windows is genuine
  8. I am happy.

This worked for me and one other team that I know of. :)

Note: When I was booting from USB, I saw two option, both 'Boot from USB.' I clicked the second one. But basically choose one, if you get an error, then choose the other one and it'll boot.

That is not what your suppose to do.....

Concluding to the PDF file "How_to_Set_Up_Your_2011_Driver_Station" your suppose to "Download the file “Classmate_Update.bat” from the 2011 FRC Control System website and copy it to the Desktop of the Classmate."

Well obviously on the day of the kickoff, yesterday, usfirst.org was down and there was no way of completely finishing this. But that was my solution to fixing the not genuine windows error. It worked. :)
