New FP spec

Re: New FP spec
According to the spec sheets posted on FIRST, it really seems like these are the 300W ones
There's nothing in the rules about how many FPs we're allowed to use. Anyone have a clue about this? |
Re: New FP spec
I wonder why the 9015 FP is in there, I didn't notice that in the KOP checklist.
We have yet to receive our KOP though to check myself. |
Re: New FP spec
Our KOP only had one FP and it was the newer ones.

I also didn't find the old motor on the KOP checklist, and since it's not identical to something in the KOP, I don't think they are legal (per <R45>,<R46>). |
Re: New FP spec
Adam,
I saw that too. I will confirm if it is the same motor today at our team work session. I still have some of those motors from 2002. I will keep everyone posted. Paul |
Re: New FP spec
Please note that only one FP motor is in the KOP and there is none in the Rookie Kit. However, there is a variety of Bane Bot options.

Re: New FP spec
As a side note, and because I couldn't find it posted anywhere else, it looks like we have the RS-775-18 this year, which is more powerful than what is indicated on the FIRST motor curves (must be RS-775-12). The green sheet (and Bane Bots website) that came with the kit of parts has the correct stats for the RS-775.

D. up to four, in any combination, of the BaneBots motors provided in the KOP (RS-775, RS-550, RS-540, RS-395), The RS-775-18 is rated for 18 volts but you only have a 12 volt source for power. |
