Could have been just everyone doing it right at 12 EST, I did it at 1 EST and the kit was still available. I have an email confirming the order.

Ok...now I'm happy:) I tried again, an hour and a half after opening and did get our team's first choices (no pun intended)...I did nothing different than earlier when I was retrying the first time and was getting notice of FTC kits, etc. being unavailable but now the items are still available. Lesson learned...patience is a virtue! Thanks to those of you who offered kind advice. :o

There are MANY FTC kits available to order. All of the remaining quantities are available for folks to see as they order. When you click on an item, it says "Quantity As of 12:01AM EST 1/10/2011: 582". This is the correct quantity, but the incorrect time is still there.

Joe, I think that your shopping cart may have been altered by the site when we were making that one shipping bug change. I believe that all is good now. Let me know if you need anything fixed.

Sincerely,
Andy

Thanks for the update and for all your efforts, Andy. As previous post indicates now, all is good. Now, isn't it late in Indiana and shouldn't us old farts be in bed by now?

Kokomo, like your little town of Las Vegas, is the city that never sleeps - at least, not this time of year.

I am hittin' the hay. Brant Bowen and Jerry Budd are still up messing with a few things. Hopefully, they will sign off soon.

Good night,
Andy

FIRST Choice is up and running smooth now. I think I'm going to sign off for the night. Up soon to start packing and shipping your orders!

Goodnight!

How many batteries were there? Those must have went fast! I logged in at 6:30ish and placed our order, no problems. Except the batteries were out of stock.

Re: FIRST Choice

you have to have your team's AndyMark account to see the order screen. If your main contacts email address isnt already associated with an AndyMark account, use the team's Q&A pass as your andy mark pass along with the main contact's email address. Otherwise use the info associated with the AndyMark Account

Yes, we are out of batteries. FIRST sent us around 50 pairs of these batteries. They are all gone now.

A good minibot doesn't have to cost anywhere near $500. The controller is a significant part of that kit's price. A great minibot just has to be fast and reliable, with no need to be smart.

Those batteries were listed as never used, but not new. I wouldn't have wanted to need to rely on them during a competition match.

The aluminum extrusions are gone too (as of 1:10p EST). If your team hasn't visited FIRST Choice yet, do it now while supplies still last.
Good luck!

Re: FIRST Choice

Hello all,

I've just got to the shipping choice on the site and the lowest cost for shipping to Washington State is $62 and it goes up to $146. Er, um, er, it that a bug?

I remeber ordering from Andy Mark last year but I don't remember the express saver option being $62.

Are other people seeing these prices for shipping?

-Jim
