looks like we should score high and low and forget about the middle. it would interesting if it were possible to Coopretitionly score the opposing alliance's middle row as a detriment to the opposing alliance's visibility.

That doesn't help. They will need to be really, really short. Like around 5 feet. The picture I took was at eye level or just above which would be 6 feet.

What do the tubes feel like and how heavy are they. Do we get one in our kit?
I am in the Australian team and we have not got our kits yet.

It's too bad that you haven't gotten your kit yet :(

They feel like the material used for water wings. We get three (one of each shape) in the kit. I don't have a weight for you, but they're really really light.

They are not listed on the KOP list but one of each minus the uber tube is included.

THAT POSITION MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW. My mind just got kind of blown.

Sorry, back to your regularly schedule thread...

PERFECT!
For once in my driver career, being 5'3" will give me an advantage!
Thank you FIRST!

This is why the use of the camera from the KOP could be really useful this year. I hope the camera does not stream low-framerate video during competition play this year: last year my team's driver ignored the camera because it was sluggish.

I'm pretty sure you can adjust the frame rate and resolution to suit your needs. If I remember right, the variables were in Begin.vi. Higher frame rate or higher resolution just makes the vision tracking less responsive (probably because it uses more of the processor).

The truth. There were all kinds of tweaks posted last year that resulted in near-realtime video. We should gather all of them together for the various programming languages, and make a sticky in the programming sub-forum.
