[FTC]: MDF Board - Friction?
 

Our current arena setup has MDF board that is not painted and it's incredibly slippery.

Does anyone have a sense as to the amount of friction the paint adds to the MDF board? (lot, little, none).

Depends on how new the paint is!

The paint seems to take weeks to dry completely. Until that happens it's very non-slippery.

In general though, I would say that it's slightly less slippery when painted, but not a lot. The mountain does have two traction strips though, and that makes a big difference.
